Jay and Donna For 31 years now, the Terry Fox Runhas been bringing hope to Canadians fighting cancer, continuing the spirit of the man who gave his life to find a cure. On Sunday, Sept. 18, 20 volunteers and participants gathered at the Kinsmen Centre for the Terry Fox Run in Goderich. Participants raised 51,025.40 in donations this year with on-line donations still open. Kinette -Kim Edward noted one participant put her pledge sheet on facebook and received donations from as far away as Japan. . The weather was great for the event. Participants were running, biking, roller blading and some even hitched a ride in a stroller as they went on the 10KM mapped out route throughout the Town of Goderich. The Goderich Kinettes hope to see more people out next year for this great event. Volunteers Sydney Durnin, Kim Edward, Janet Wunnink and Kay Edward get participants registered and ready to run.
