In Ontario, Small Business: Month has
been a celebration of small business enter-
prise and innovation for many years. In
keeping with that tradition, the Huron Busi-
ness Development Corporation has devel-
oped a special seminar series for October to
both acknowledge and reward the small
business sector for their many positive con-
tributions to the economic dynamic of
Huron County.
This series, Business -Wise Lunchtime, is
composed of four small business manage-
ment seminarsbased upon the broad cate-
gories of Business Planning, Customer Serv-
ice, Financing, and Marketing/Branding.
Each seminar begins at noon and will run for
two hours. All will take place at the Board-
room of the Huron Business Centre in
Seaforth where HBDC is headquartered. A
light lunch will be provided (sandwichesand
salad).

Healthy Hearts Seminar
Knowing the signs and symptoms of a heart
attack and stroke and the importance of get-
ting .early treatment are vital life saving pieces
of Information that the public needs to be
aware of. Thanks to funding provided by the
Municipality of Central Huron, Healthy Hearts
Cardiac Rehabilitation Program and One Care -
Home and Community Support Services, are
providing upcoming free information sessions
for Learning Life Saving Heart and Stroke
information.
These free information sessions will be held
Thursday September 29th 10 am to 2pm OR
an evening session on Monday October 24th
7pm -9pm at the Betty Cardno Memorial Cen-
tre 317 Huron Street in Clinton
