Response to the community's great-
est need in the wake of the Aug. 21 tor-
nado has been phenomenal.
Add the name of B.M. Ross and
Associates to the list of generous cor-
porate citizens as the engineering firm
last week announced a donation of
5100,000 to the Goderich and Area
Disaster Relief Fund.
B.M. Ross and Associates is pleased
to announce the donation of $100,000
to the Goderich and Area Disaster
Relief Fund to provide much needed
assistance to our community

following the recent tornado, a release
from the company stated.
"We are fortunate, as one of the larg-
est employers in the core area, to have
not been seriously impacted by this
disaster. This donation will be a chal-
lenge for us, but for 60 years we and
our families have lived and worked in
this community and we believe that is
imperative that we invest in Goderich
at this time when the need is so
great."
The presentation of the $100,000
cheque was made to Goderich and
Area Disaster Relief committee mem-
bers, Dr. Tom Jasper, fundraising chair
and Matt Hoy and Ken Dunn of the
fundraising committee.
Twenty-two of the firm's 55 employ-
ees were on hand for the formal pres-
entation at the B.M. Ross and Associ-
ates
