There were over 800 hot dogs served which means there were hundreds of people in attend-
ance at the town -wide barbecue and concert at the Memorial Arena Saturday, Sept 3. Families
enjoyed the free barbecue and family fund ay with great activities for the kids on the arena floor.
Six local bands entertained throughout the day and members of local service groups, Lions,
Kinsmen and Rotary were all on hand to cook, organize and collect donations.
Organizer Gerard Creces reports that about $3,000 was raised in donations through the day.
