The Fitness portion of the
Festival includes cycling,
running and walking. Begin-
ning at 11 a.m. on Saturday
October 1, an 8 km. run or
walk will meander through
the historic village and the
newly developed Woodland
Trail. The advanced entry
fee is $20 and on the day of
the event is $25. Registra-
tion is from 9 to 10:30 at the
Bayfield arena. The Virtual
High School of Bayfield is
the lead sponsor. While in
the village, you might wish
to visit the newly con-
structed school on the Main
St. opposite the Little Inn.
Water for this event is pro-
vided by the Village Book-
shop in Bayfield.
This run is sanctioned by
the Ontario Masters as a
regional competition and
medals are awarded to win-
ners of each age group. Indi-
vidual high school cross-
country runners and school
teams are invited to partici-
pate with medals awarded to
junior and seniors individ-
ual and team winners.
The cycling event that
begins at 12 noon fr9m the
Bayfield arena an , yell cover
a distance 45 km along
paved county roads in Blue -
water. CKNX and Outside
Projects of Bayfield have
made this event possible.
Registration for this event
begins at 9 and ends at 11:30.
The cost: preregistration $40
and on the day of the event
$45.
For those interested in
participating in a shorter
and leas demanding events
and contributing to this fun-
draiser, there is a 3 km. route
through the village. The cost
for this is $20. All those 16
and under can participate in
any event for $10.
It is worth noting that
because of the generosity of
the Municipalities of
Bluewater and Central Huron
and those mentioned above,
100% of the funds raised will be
directed to the Keeping Abreast
Campaign of the AMGH Foun-
dation for the purchase of the
mammography unit.

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Goderich
will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 4:OOp.m. in the
Godench Town Council Chambers to consider a proposed zoning amendment
under Section 34 of the Planning Act.
BE ADVISED that the Clerk of the Corporation of the Town of Goderich
considered this application to be complete on September 8, 2011.
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal
representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed amendment.
ONLY individuals, corporations and public bodies may appeal a by-law
to the Ontario Municipal Board. A notice of appeal may not be filed by an
unincorporated association or group. However, a notice of appeal may be filed
in the name of an individual who is a member of the association or group on its
behalf.
NO PERSON or public body shall be added as a party to the bearing of an
appeal unless, before the by-law passed. the person or public body made oral
submissions at a public meeting or written submissions to the Council or, in the
opinion of the Ontario Municipal Board, there are reasonable grounds to add
the person or public body as a party.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION relating to the proposed zoning amendment
is available for inspection during regular office hours at the Town Clerk's office.

PURPOSE AND
This By-law proposes to change the zoning on Part Lot 108. Maitland
Concession in the Town of Goderich – known municipally as 362 Huron
Road—from Residential Medium Density (R2) to Minor Community Facility
(CFI). The subject lands are currently vacant.
The purpose of this by-law is to allow the parcel to be utilized by the
neighbouring community facility (Note: the proposed use is a plinking lot).
This zoning by-law amendment is a requirement of Committee of Adjustment
decision (File 2011-2, B-2).
This by-law amends Zoning By-law 381985 of the Tbwn of Goderich. Key
Maps showing the location of the lands to which this by-law applies are shown
on the following pages entitled Schedule ••A"
