Members of the TD Bank team on hand for the presentation included: (not named in order) Brenda German, Amy Gibson, Katrina Ulch, Wilma Ellis, Tom Burnside, Kathy Ryan, Teresa Doney, Usa Stokley, Betty Southgate, Kathryn Yates, Justin Pearson, Christopher Spaleta, Tom Dyck and Janet Slncerbox. OffKCE Of THE FIRE MARSHAL The Goderich and Area Dis- aster Relief Fund received a major infusion of cash last week when staff, customers and management of TD Bank handed over cheques totaling $75,000. A group of staff members from TD Canada Trust Goderich were on hand for the official donation as District Vice -President, Tom Burnside handed over the funds to Ken Dunn of the Fundraising Com- mittee Friday. "We have a cheque for $55,000 from the employees and customers of TD branches across the country who saw the pictures and stories of what went her and wanted to help out," Tom Dyck of TD Bank said. "It is the least we can do. We have seen the real charac- ter and grit of the people here and know you can be the Pret- tiest Town in Canada again." In addition to the $55,000 raised by staff and customers, a corporate donation of $10,000 from TD Bank Group was added to help in fund emer- gency relief services. TD Friends of the Environ- ment Foundation also made a $ 10,000 donation to support tree -planting efforts in town. "TD is proud to be a part of this exceptional community and we are honoured to stand with you today as we work together to rebuild; a release from the company stated. The Goderich branch of TD Bank remains closed but man- ager Teresa Doney and her staff have set up a temporary loca- tion in the parking lot next to the branch which is expected to open later in the week.
