When asked by Coun.

"fared very very well. Struc-

According to Ministry of
Attorney General spokesman
Brendan Crawley, there are 24
ministry staff typically situ-
ated at the courthouse includ-
ing Crowns, court and victim
services staff. That number
does not include members of
the judiciary, court security
officers, policy, family taw and
Legal Aid staff, duty counsel
orstaff at the law library.
Asked whether the recent
disruption would lead the
ministry to reconsider the
location, Crawley said, "There
are no plans to permanently
evacuate the courthouse.
Once the building is repaired,
we will move in."
Crawley also confirms the
courts are continuing in their
quest for more space.
"We are currently reviewing
our options regarding space
within the courthouse, but
there has been no deteirtriina
tion made on any future
plans."
