Just before the long holi- day weekend, St. Vincent de Paul received a trailer full of boxes of new clothing from Sears Canada to be distrib- uted to those in need from the recent tornado. Sears Canada generously donated atrailer of new merchandise to assist those affected by the tornado. Locally, St. Vincent de Patil is committed to being responsible to both Sears and those residents most affected in the ensuring they have access to these items so on one is forgotten or left out. The clothing has been off loaded and items will be stored at St. Vincent de Paul on. MacEwan Street until all affected residents have had the opportunity to access the items. Clifford hoped that resi- dents in need would have the opportunity within the next two weeks to access the items but said,. "We are pre- pared to wait as long as necessary." St. Vincent de Paul is pro- viding tornado relief for all and is offering food, cloth- ing, footwear, backpacks, pet food, linens, small household appliances, larger appliances, furniture and will address specific needs as well.
