Norm used to make about 15 big lasagnas every: year around Christmas time for Children's Aid. Ile used to take them to work tosell and the nune would always match the money he raised," said Turcotte-Laberge. "He always made sure children in need had a good Christmas." Turcotte-Laberge said the support from the area com- munities has been amazing. "The .support has been excellent, over and above. There has been a lot of com- fort given and words of encouragement," said Tur- cotte-Laberge. "Goderich, Lucknow and all over have been truly supportive." She also said people in Montreal have been very supportive as well. Montreal is where Nor- mand is from originally. His mother, brother and sister, nieces, nephews and cousins still all live there. Cockburn; grandson Franklin Cockburn; stepsons Shaun and Arden Laird and their children Megan, Morgan, Macheala, Brianna, Aaron and Dylan; mother Ruth Laberge (Morrow), brother Richard Laberge, sister Johane Laberge and father-in-law David Tur- cotte and family. Predeceased by father Maurice Laberge. A memorial service was held at Normand's residence on Aug. 26. Normand Laberge Turcotte.-Laberge wants people to remember Nor- mand as a kind, generous man who always had time and a smile for everyone. "He was a good man, a lov- ing man, a good grandfather, good husband. Ile never had a mean bone in his body," said Turcotte-Laberge.
