"Council has
endorsed the cam-
paign, and will have town build-
ings display ribbons and encourage other
buildings to do the same," said Special
Events .Coordinator Wanda Keith. She per-
sonally has taken upthe task of handcrafting
the more than 20 ribbon bows on behalf of
the Town of Goderich.
The WaNE event will consist of a parade
on August 20 from.1 to 2.p.m., which will
march from the Legion up King-
ston.Street to the Cenotaph and
back. The purpose of this parade,
Cook said, is to honour returning
Afghanistan Veterans and their
families.
