Unit has issued information
regarding a vehicle of interest.
The vehicle of interest is believed
to have passed the scene and the
driver may have information
regarding the collision.
The driver remains
outstanding.
The vehicle of interest
is described as a dark
extended cab pickup
truck that is possibly
black. The truck was pull-
ing a largeenclosed
trailer that was possibly
silver coloured with dual
wheels. The vehicle was last seen
northbound on Grand Bend Line
from the area of the hit and run.
It -was heading towards Grand
Bend and its' direction of travel
from Grand Bend remains

Police are continuing to
investigate all aspects of this
investigation including the
activity on the busses prior to
reaching Grand Bend. Further
charges stemming from this
event are possible. Police
reminid everyone that drunk
and disorderly conduct will
not be permitted at Grand
Bend or anywhere else in the
province. Citizens are encour-
aged to be responsible and
obey all the laws put in place
for everyone's safety.
Impaired Driver Arrested
At approximately 2:30 a.m.
on July 16, a Huron OPP officer
conducted a traffic stop in
Goderich after observing a
vehicle fail to stop at a stop
sign. Upon speaking to the
driver it was determined that
she was impaired by alcohol.
The driver was subsequently
arrested and transported to the
Goderich detachment to meet
with a qualified Intoxilizer
Technician in order to provide
two samples of her breath.
The results of the two tests
confirmed that the driver had
a blood alcohol level that was
above the legal limit of 80 mil-
ligrams of alcohol.
As a result of the investiga-
tion, a 28 -year-old Manitoba
woman has been charged with
one count of Drive With Over
80 Milligrams of Alcohol. She
will answer to .her charge in
the Ontario.Court of Justice -
Goderich on September 12,
2011.
Break and enter at
residence
The Huron County Ontario
Provincial Police are investi-
gating a break and enter that
occurred between 4 p.m. and 9
a.m. on July 16, 2011- July 17,
2011 on Bruce Street in
Goderich. Unknown person(s)
entered the residence by forc-
ing in a door. Items reported
stolen include numerous
pieces of jewellery. These
items are valued at around
$ 10,000.

regarding the person(s)
responsible for this incident
should immediately contact
the Ontario Provincial Police
