afternoon, Colborne got
at they wanted; in a rematch
against Cape Croker. The silenced bats
from the round robin game came alive
once again to provide a strong offence as
well as defence. DJ Stevenson pitched
the full seven -inning game allowing just
two runs. Catcher Jesse Stevenson played
strong all weekend throwing out numer-
ous batters -on the base paths.
The team had strong. bats by Jake
Moulton, Carson Lamb, Trevor Lockie
andthe two Stevenson brothers the
entire tournament. Clutch bunts by Brad
Gethke contributed strongly to the suc-
cess of the team. They had excellent out
fielding by Cody Millian, Wil Cannon,
Chad, Kernighan, and Zach Harman as
they each had their fair share of spectac-
ular'plays. Infielders Jake Moulton, Car-
son Lamb, Austin Kernighan, Trevor
Lockie and Brad Gethke all had key plays
in the tournament snagging tough balls
and getting the outs. Jesse Stevenson
played the best baseball he has played all
year hitting, and catching great. Starting
pitcher DJ Stevenson, pitched a total of
18 innings for the tournament.
Coaches Glen Lamb, Gard. Moulton,
and Patti Lamb were all proud of the way
the boys played; facing tough competi-
tion, blistering heat, coming together
well as a team, giving the fans a very
exciting weekend of fastball and bringing
home the hardware.
