Goderich. 'Ilielarge Regency house was
originally built as a large log house for
Baron de Tuyle, John Galt, and later
expanded by Henry Attrill and other
well-known occupants. `Pickets are
available at Huronia Welding, 282b Sun-
coast Drive E., and Banter, MacEwan
and Feagan Insurance, 50 South Street,
for reserved times, at $50 each.
Special arrangements have been
made to summon the spirits of Baron
van Tuyll (also spelled de Tuyle), Henry
Attrill, Oscar Fleming, and other former
residents to conduct the tour (they will.
be impersonated by the tour guides who.
have volunteered for the special
occasion).
Visitors to the house will be able to
stop at the nearby Dunlop tomb
entrance, at the end of 'Tomb Road'
which will be marked by a signboard.
Reg Thompson will be on site from noon
to 4 p.m. to host visitors who are inter-
ested in seeing the new signs and learn-
ing
earn-ing about Tiger Dunlop's plans for a new
town site in that location.
For those who simply wish to donate
to the cemetery gate restoration project,
donations in, any amount can be left at
the Goderich Co-op Gallery, 54 Court-
house Square, payable to 'Colborne 175:
Donations of $20 or more will receive a
full -colour, poster sized reproduction of
the original 1879 Colborne Township
map, first published in the original
Belden atlas of Huron County.
All proceeds are dedicated to support
the up -to $20,000 restoration ofthe ses-
quicentennial pillars and gates at Col-
borne Cemetery and to help with costs
for the Walk in the Past events t the
Colborne Public School on SeP tnber

Education Foundation with support
from the Ideal Supply "Green Fund" The
