She had much of the groundwork laid
out already for her plan, having toyed
with the idea before. She built a
business plan for a similar specialty
shop more than 20 years ago, she said,
but high interest and rent rates at the
dme forced her to shelve the project.
Now the dream has become reality
and things are looking beachy at 43
West Street.
"fBusinessj has been better than 1
expected considering the not-so-beachy
weather we've had," Brooks said.
But it's not just a one -season store.
She added Sea Shells merchandise will
rotate along with the seasons, offering
warmer apparel into fail and winter.
Currently, Sea Shells is open from
9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m:, Tuesday to Friday,
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 12 to 2
