The Goderich Horticultural
Society hosted a Summer
Garden tour July 23,
highlighting nine of some
of the community's most
scenic and impressive garden
grounds. Society members
Helen Sager, Sandra Goddard
and Beverly Zoethout manned
the refreshment and maps
booth set up at the Goderich
Tourism Centre Saturday
and said more than 250
tickets had been sold for
the tour, with more drop -ins
expected. The sed -guided tour
brought onlookers to private
gardens within Goderich,
and one "Surprise" garden
at Pondsview Garden Centre
south of town.
A big thank you to the staff and patrons
over the last five years. Without you

Despite medical efforts, Colin passed
away on July 3, with his parents and
brothel Kelly at his side. The family held a
funeral in Managua attended by many of
Colin's friends and business associates. The

Colin's life there.
They returned to Goderich with Colin's
ashes and a funeral mass was held at,
St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church on
Friday, July 8.
Colin did not have medical insurance

while their son underwent treatment and
six operations.
Colin's employer from Halifax, Brian
Titus of Garrison Breweries will be attend-
ing the barbecue. Titus created a special,
Iintited-edition Belgian IPA,.and donated
$1 from the sale of each bottle to the medi-
ad fund.
Mcdonagh also indicted that a group of
friends and volunteers will be hosting a
breakfast at the Columbus Centre Satur-
