The third edition of Benmiller Inn
and Spa's annual Open House,
celebrating all the good things
the area has to offer on the
sprawling grounds of country
retreat Sunday afternoon, was
an unqualified success. People
turned out for the community
event and were treated to
displays from companies across
the county, food and wine tasting,
entertainment, facility tours and a
children's area. Patrons were able
to sit in the shaded courtyard and
enjoy food and beverages served
up by chef Spencer Vail and
sous chef Martin Novotny. Olivia
Allen of Goderich has her face
painted by Amber Classen while
Mike Verhoef offered flyfishing
demonstrations.
