third rendition of the open house at the
country facility with a free community
event from 1-4 p.m. that will showcase
alt the best that Huron County has to
offer.
"This a great community event and
we have partnered with other busi-
nesses in Huron to put this together,"
Marianne Novotna, Sales and Catering
Manager said. "We all need to work
together to promote this area and all it
has to offer to bring tourists to the
area."
The event will feature the work of a
few Local artisans and liven entertain-
ment will be provided by Matt Hussey
and Friends.
Of course, one of the events main fea-
tures will be the sampling of tasty treats
courtesy of the Inn and Metzgers of
Hensel as Huron County products will
be turned into tasty fare. There will also
be some samples available from Pelee
Island wineries.
New this year to complete the family
event is the addition of a kid's corner
replete with games, face painting,
bouncy castle and live animals. The Big`
Brothers and Big Sisters organization of
North Huron will be offering the ever-
popular cotton candy for donations.

There was plenty of food on hand at the annual Canada Day Picnic in Courthouse Park courtesy of the
Fourth Goderich Cubs and Scouts. Doug Hoffmeyer had the crowd lined up for his hot dogs and cotton
candy was a hit with young patrons as well. A group of Canada Day visitors enjoy a picnic lunch on
the lawn of Courthouse Park before the annual parade on The Square Friday. Alexa and Devon Lloyd
of London were joined by Atyson, Janice, James and Hanna Coleman of CalgaryyAiberta as the group
enjoyed Goderich hospitality.
