Public health nurses (including Anne Haley, left) doled out shot after shot
of H1 N1 vaccine this year, in an attempt to stem the tide of the swine flu
pandemic. Above, the Canadian Olympic had the distinction of being
the first ship into Goderich Port in 2009, captained by Richard Hesketh.
Hesketh was greeted at town hall to officially sign the top hat which every
first -ship captain has autographed since the early 1900s.
At left, the Amazing Kreskin lived up to his name with a show at the
Livery this March. Kreskin was one of many entertainers to touch
down in Goderich this year. Above, the American Wind Symphony
brought a floating orchestra to the port in July. The vessel Point -
Counterpoint 1I, also serves as a floating art gallery.
