Local 2222 representative, Bryan Casemore, commented on the charitable gift: "Each year we pick a charity that affects our workers, and we know that some of our own guys are struggling with Parkinson's disease as we speak. The re- gion our Local represents includes Huron, Perth, Grey and Bruce counties so it was a good fit knowing that these funds will be used in all of these areas represented by Parkinson Society Southwestern On- tario." Parkinson Society South- western Ontario offers support services (support groups and counseling), educa- tion, advocacy and research to ease the burden and find a cure for this disease. "We are absolutely thrilled with the partnership opportunity the United Broth- erhood of Carpenters and Joiners Local 2222 has offered our organization" stated Tracey Jones Manager, Programs and Ser- vices with Parkinson Society Southwest- ern Ontario. "We receive no government funding so when a group offers financial support to continue providing services, we certainly feel blessed.
