(Jen) Zoethout and great -grandma of Dylan
James, Erica James, Nathan Zoethout, Finn
Zoethout, Jacob Renon, Nicolas Renon and
Greta Zoethout. Also survived by many
relatives in The Netherlands. Friends were
received at McCallum & Palla Funeral Home,
Cambria Rd. at East St., Goderich on Sunday,
November 15, 2009 from 2-5 p.m. Funeral
service was held at Trinity Christian Reformed
Church, Suncoast Dr., Goderich on Monday,
November 16, 2009 at 2 p.m. Visitation was
also held at the church one hour prior to the
service. Pastor Stephen Tamming officiated.
Interment Colborne Cemetery. Pallbearers
were • Jason Parsons, Chad Zoethout, John
Dewilda, Rob Renon, George Zoethout and
Daco Zoethout. Donations to the Canadian
Cancer Society and Trinity Christian Reformed
Church Building Fund gratefully acknowledged.

(1977) Bradbury (nee Dawe), Grand Falls, NL.
Predeceased by husband John Patrick Grace
(February 7, 1991) of Goderich, ON and first
husband, Roy Maxwell Kenneth Baker
(January 12, 1985) of Grand Falls, NL. Sister
of Gerald (Eileen) Bradbury of Rodger's Cove,
NL. Predeceased by sister Elsa (Clifford)
Allen (1955), Grand Falls, NL; brother Edward
(Phillis) Bradbury (2004), Detroit, MI; and
sister Caroiyn (Denny) Goodyear (2002), St.
John's, NL. Mother of Stephen (Patricia)

to mourn are 16 nieces and nephews. Joan was
born in Grand Falls, NL and worked at the
Anglo Newfoundland Development Company's
paper mill in Grand Falls as the mill manager's
secretary during the Second World War. She
married Roy Baker after he returned from the
war and was an integral part of Grand Falls life
in the 50s and 60s where she was active in
church, choirs, drama festivals, golf and of
course curling, where she twice represented
her province of Newfoundland at the national
women's championships in the 1960s. Joan
moved to Goderich and married John Grace in
1975 and immediately became involved in her
new community as a member of St. George's
Anglican Church and as a member of the Blyth
Festival Singers and other choirs. Joan loved to
sing, dance and play the piano. She also loved
to travel with her close friends or family. Joan
was the Avon Lady in Goderich Township for
about 20 years and ran the Quidi Vidi Manor
Bed and Breakfast on Highway 21, just south
of Goderich. Visitors were received at the
Central Funeral Home, Union Street, Grand
Falls, NL on November 23 from 2-5 p.m. and
7-9 p.m. Funeral service was from the
Memorial United Church in Grand Falls, NL
on Tuesday, November 24 at 11 a.m. Internment
at the Grand Falls Cemetery. While Joan loved
flowers, please consider donating instead, in
Joan's memory, to the Huronview Home for
the Aged in Clinton, making cheques payable
to Huronview Residence Fund, c/o Falconer
