The GDCI senior girls basketball team
battled short-handed to win the St.
'Anne's Eagles basketball tournament
this past weekend. The Vikes defeated
St. Anne's 33-15, Stratford Northwestern
31-26 and St. Mary's of Woodstock
44-28. Courtney McDonald netted nine
against Stratford and 17 against St.
Mary's. Erin Brunk sunk 12 against the
Eagles. This most recent championship
adds to the South Huron DHS tourna-
ment Championship title and the
Kincardine DHS Consolation title. The
senior vikings improved their season
record to 10-3.
