The Viking field hockey team jumped into first
place Wednesday at GDCI when they hosted
the Mitchell Blue Devils and Listowel Lightning
and came away with a pair _of wins. The Vikes
defeated Mitchell 3-0 on a pair of goals by
Adrienne Bedard, while captain Danielle Bean
added a single. In game two, the Vikes defeated
Listowel 3-0. Rookie Keisha Stoddart paced

field, it's a lot more
work, and it's a lot
more competitive.
Off the field, we
can't do much cel-
ebrating [due to strict rules] except with
the team."
Feagan has been amazed by the level of
play, and the attitudes of her team-mates,
given the short time she's gotten to know
them.

the girls are," she said. "It's a higher level
of field hockey, and they're all very tal-
