The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109 hosted its annual Decoration Day service at the Maitland Cemetery on Sept. 20, while the Friends of the Veterans organization rolled into town Sept. 19 during its Salute Ride (below). Above, the Legion Colour Guard stands at attention during the Decoration Day ceremonies at Maitland Cemetery Sunday. The ser- vice honours all veterans who have passed away, at home or abroad.
