EDITORIAL NOTES
-----
Canada's Parliament has unanimously
asked the Imperial authorities to extend
its life for one year to avoid the necess-
ity of a general eleetion at this time.
The resolution, presented to the House
of Commons by Premier Borden, was
carried without a dissenting voice.
The stern and serious responsibilities
of the struggle in which the Dominion
is proudiy da) in a real part stand
first in the minds of the men who right-
ly represent the thought and spirit of
their fellow -Canadians.
The war has made its impress on On-
tario immigration work, the grant for
1914-15 having been cut in half as com-
pared wi; h the previous year. For
propaganda purposes. bonuses, etc., the
amount for the year figured $48,579,
against $101,609 in the preceding twelve
months. There was a reduction from
$45,000 to $26,000 in propaganda work
in Great Britain, and the $10,000 grant
to Salvation Army was seved.
Car ferriee from Cobourg arrived in
kingston harbour, breaking through ten
inches of ice, and making a record for
early nevigatien there.
Perth. Ont., aimed at $10,000 for the
Paaiotic Fund in two days, and raised
nearly $17 e00.

A clever medical writerlias said that to sow,
"Neuralgia is a cry from the nerves NOTE - We do not charge seeds, cash
for better blood." In other words, or note must accorapany every sale.
neuralgia is not a disease -it is only a KING BROS,
symptom, but a very painful one.
Neuralgia is the surest sign that
your blood is weak, watery and impure,
and that your nerves are literally
starving. Bad blood is the only cause -
rich, red blood the only cure. This
gives you the real reason why Dr.
Williams' Pink Pills cure neuralgia.
They are the only medicine that con-
tains in correct proportions the ele-
ments needed to make rich, red blood.
This new, rich ,blood reaches the root
of the trouble, soothes the jangled
.nerves, drives away the nagging, stabb-
ing pain, and braces up your health .hi
other ways as well. en promf of jese
statements Mrs. A. T. Oulto Attie
Snemogue, N. B , says: A few
years ago my mother wa n intense
sufferer from neuralg' , which was
located in her f ce, ne and shoulders.
The pain, espe ially ' her head, was
intense. She oc ed for some time
without gettin ief and there seemed
to be no ceasi of the pain whatever.
Instead it seemed to be extending and
her whole nervous system became af-
fected. Finally she decided to try Dr.
Williams' Pink Pills. After taking
them for a while the pain in her head
became less severe, and of course this
was a great relief to her. Under the
continued use of the Pills she felt her-
self growing better and stronger each
day arid' she was no longer a sufferer
and t;17 .IS completely cured, and has felt
no symptoms of the trouble since."
You can get Dr. Williams Pink Pills
from any medicine dealer, or by mail,
po;t paid, at 50 cents a box or six
boxes for $2.50, from The Dr. Williams
Medicine Co., Brockville, Ont.
