They are being brought in this week, Mrs. (Rev.) Sharp has returned to her home in Sirncoe after visiting for a couple of weeks with Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Stanbury. The spell of rnild weather was bro- ken on Monday by a fall of snow. On Tuesday the ground was covered with a couple 'of inches of the beautiful. Mr. Hamilton, forman of the -Hyd- ro gang who are putting up the lines between Exeter'and-,Crediton, nar- rowly escaped being electrocuted on Saturday. They were stringing the wires when one caught in the branch of a tree, and while tightening one of the lines the wire gave way and touched ° the 13,000volt wires. The shock knocked Mr. 'IYamiltori about ten 'feet and his arm was numb for several days. It' was a miraculous escape from death.
