Dr. H. Williams, of London; perform-
ed the operation: Mr. Anderson is'
getting along as well as can be ex-
pected.
Mr. Andy Easton has taken out an
auctioneer's license for the county, of
Huron. Mr. Easton assisted in --the
sale at J. N. Ratcliffe's on Friday
last. Mr. Easton made a good im-
pression and gives promise of making
an excellent auctioneer.
Mr. C. W. Robinson, auctioneer,
left on Tuesday for Fergus, where he
has taken a position as implement
agent. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hart and
young daughter have also left for
Fergus where they will have charge
of a farm for Mr. Robinson. •

Strang, son of Mr.

Strang, of• Usborne, had the misfor-
tune of breaking his arm one lay
last week. ',He was helping to load
apples when in some manner he fell
off the wagon, breaking the two
bones in his left arm. The injury is
a severe one'and it will be some time
before he will have the use of the in-
jured member.
