Please contact Barbara at vbarbara@cogeco.ca to add names to the list of past students and share your memories. The "Rev'n in 11" committee has kept things hopping in Port Albert recently. The baseball tournament held in Dun- gannon in July was well attended, de- spite the weather. Twelve teams were registered and the competition was live- ly. A Champs: 1st Cougars & Cubs, 2nd Rusty Parts. B Champs: 1st the Bulls from Seaforth, 2nd North Ashfield. Most of the winning teams contributed all or some of their winnings to "Rev'n in 11". Kyle Shepherd was the winner of the bar fridge which was generously donated by Sears of Goderich. Also, a beautiful ham supper was put on by Diane Maize and her team. Thank you to all who partici- pated and helped make the weekend a success. Christ Church was a lively spot on Sat- urday, August 1st where Gwen's team put on a fantastic breakfast. Thank you again to all who came out and supported the ef- forts of the committee. The history book com- mittee wants to know... when did your family first discover Port Albert? The next date to mark on your calen- dar is September 5 for the Corn Roast and Silent Auction. This is not an ordi- nary corn roast and will have to be ex- perienced to be al,preciated. Tickets can be obtained at the Port Albert General Store, there is a limited number so pur- chase your tickets early.
