Paquettes take Maitland annual couples tournament
On Saturday, July 18, the Maitland
Country Club held their Annual Cou-
ples Tournament. The winners were:
Closest to the pin No. 1 - Pam Mar-
shall; for the men, Neil Sawatzky.
First low gross, Paul and Wendy Pa-
quette; First low net, Pam Marshall
and Terry Thompson; Second low
gross, Andrew and Tina Mann; Second
low net, Cy and Wendy Harvey; Third
low gross, George and Ruby Leverton;
Third low net, Larry and Denese Mc-
Cabe; Fourth low gross, Arthur Hooff
and Jan Hawley.
On Men's Night, July 20, first low net
was shot by Jim Horton and Scott Al-
len with a score of 31. First low gross,
Corey Haylow with 38. Closest to the
pin on No. 1 Ian Harper. Ian Gould,
Dave Cornish and Ian Harper shot a 39
for second low gross.
Other winners were Bob Graham,
Rob Pollock, Bill Brown, Terry Wor-
sell and Tom Fincher.
Tuesday Morning July 21, Men's
League saw 67 players out. The win-
ners were:
Flight A - Five players tied. B -
George Zolob; C - Don Armstrong and
Doug Mikitish; D- Don Elliott; E - Rod
Culp; F - Gord Wistow. Closest to the
pin on No. 1 Jim Vogel.
Tuesday Evening Ladies' League,
July 21, Rose Marie Evans had fewest
putts. First flight, low gross, Christine
