Bolton in the final.
Listowel sweeps annual Ducharme tournament

The Listowel Legionaire Peewees
racked up five straight victories to
claim the tournament championship
at the Ray Ducharme Annual Peewee
Baseball Tournament played over three
days here at Agriculture Park on the
weekend.
Listowel claimed the championship,
defeating Bolton 17-11 in the tourna-
ment final Sunday afternoon. They
reached the tournament championship
game with a 16-2 whipping of Strat-
ford Majors in semi-final action ear-
lier in the day. Listowel easily worked
through its division in the round robin
portion of the tournament, defeating
Forest Glen of Mississauga, Lucan and
Stratford in C Division play to gain a
berth in the semi-final Sunday.
Bolton reached the final with three
straight wins in the B Division. They
defeated Clinton, Saugeen of Port Elgin
and EBBA London and then clinched a
spot in the tournament championship
game with a 5-2 victory over London
