Anj McCool scored the team's lone goal in the Seabreeze's third tie of the year. McCool leads the team in scoring with five goals this season. Both teams got off to a slow start on the pitch, and coach Tom Costello said while Middlesex came out strong, the Sea - breeze were first to get on the scoreboard. With three minutes left, Middlesex . snuck one past Goderich's Stepha- nie Dale on a deflection. Dale has been on the 'in- jured list for some time, but Costello said she felt confident heading into the match. There were not too many shots to block, however, as the ball was stuck in the midfield for much of the game, thanks to a rock -solid Seabreeze defence. Fullbacks Amy Mac- Donald, Jessie Wither- spoon, Ashley Fielder and Charlotte Worsell are the front line, backed by the relentless stopper/ sweeper combination of Clare Sutherland and Ka- tie Costello. "The back four we have is, in my mind, the best I've seen," he said.
