this weekend, police say they'll be in full
force in Grand Bend to deal with rowdy
high school students causing havoc at
the popular beach. Officials in the lake-
side resort town were furious following
heavy partying last Friday by class -skip-
ping high schoolers, who left the newly
refurbished Lake Huron beach littered
with beer and booze bottles, litter and
even passed -out teens. Yesterday, police
reported the beach was quiet, but were
anticipating a heavy influx of visitors
late last night and today with the prom-
ised fair weather.
