PATERSON
John Calder Paterson of Windsor passed away
May 7, 2009 at London Health Sciences
Centre at the age of 83 years, surrounded by
his loving family. Dearest husband of the late
•
Lucile (2006). Loving father of Karen, Jim and
wife Carolyn, Sue and Milos, Jean and
Jo -Anne. Will be sadly missed by his 10
grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and
one great -great-grandchild. Survived by his
sisters, Feme Russo, Goderich and Lenore
Haslip, Sarnia. Predeceased by his brother
Harold (Pat). Will also be missed by many
other family members and close friends. At
John's request a small private family gathering
took place followed by cremation. Arrangements
entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home,
1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. Online condolences

away on Sunday,
May. 3, 2009 at
the age of 41.

(Randi) of Exeter. Friends were received at
McCallum & Palla Funeral Home, Goderich
on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass was
celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church,
Goderich on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11 a.m.
Rev. John Jasica - celebrant. Viola solo was
given by his daughter Chelsea, cantor for the
service was Michael Madden and cousin
Charlene MacDonald was the reader. Cremation
followed. Pallbearers were uncles Dan
MacDonald, Dennis Johnston, cousins Morris
Campbell, Trevor Kelly, Steve Ross and Tony
Johnston. Donations to a trust fund for Chelsea
(Chelsea MacDonald In Trust) gratefully
acknowledged. Friends may sign the book of

KOLPIN
Shirley Labelle Kolpin (nee Rollins) passed
away peacefully in her 81st year on May 22,
2009 at Goderich General Hospital after a
short battle with cancer. Shirley is survived by
Arthur her loving husband of 59 years, sons
Brad (Jill) of Goderich, and Dean of London
and grandchildren Caroline and John Kolpin of
Goderich. Sister Sharon Weaver (Jerry) Of
Goderich, brother John Rollins (Dianne), and
brother Wayne Rollins, both of London. Shirley
was predeceased by her father John W. Rollins,
stepmother Alma Rollins, mother Madeline
-Willsie, and stepfather Harold Willsie. Friends
were received at Forest Lawn Memorial
Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street E., London for
visitation on Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 1-3
p.m. A graveside service and interment to
follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations
to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of
your choice would be greatly appreciated by

At Eda's request there will be no funeral home
visitation or service. A private interment of
cremated remains will be held at Colborne
Cemetery. Donations to the Alexandra Marine

BROADLEY
Grace Carolyn (nee Taylor) Broadley passed
away peacefully in her sleep at her home in
Clinton, Ontario on May 24, 2009 in her 93rd
year. Grace was predeceased by her beloved
husband Joseph E. (1999) and her loving son
John J. (1996). Dearest mother of Carole
Broadley and her husband Randy Morgan of
Goderich, Ontario and Michael Broadley and
his wife Bonnie of Clinton, Ontario. Much
loved grandma of Peter and Stephen Broadley
of Toronto and Nicholas Broadley of Baton
Rouge, Louisiana and Sariah Broadley of
Mitchell, Ontario. Dear sister of Edith Curwin
of Saint John, New Brunswick and sister-in-
law Dorothy Gordon of Hamilton, Ontario.
Grace will be lovingly remembered by a large
extended family in New Brunswick, Nova
Scotia and Ontario as well as many friends and
neighbours from her many years with her
husband and family in Toronto. Grace relocated
to Central Huron in 2004 to be closer to her
children and their families. She was
accompanied in her move by her long time
caregiver and truest friend Lynn Wallace. It
was Lynn's dedication and commitment that
enabled Grace to remain independent in her
final years. The family expresses their sincere
appreciation and heartfelt thanks to Lynn for
her love and devotion to Grace. The family
also wishes to thank the Personal Support
Workers of Saint Elizabeth's Health Care and
Clinton Public Hospital for their care and
compassion. Funeral arrangements have been
entrusted to McCallum & Paila Funeral Home,
11 Cambria Rd. N., Goderich, Ontario, N7A
2N8 where visitation for family and friends
will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 7-9
p.m. and the funeral service will be held on
Friday, May 29 at 1 p.m. A reception to
celebrate Grace's life will follow with location
to be announced at the funeral. If desired, a
donation in Grace's memory, to Clinton Public
Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
