,Blaze tie season opener
The Goderich Blaze played
their season opener Friday eve-
ning in St. C:ohunban, earning a
1-1 draw. St Cokimban opened
the scoring in the second minute
of play while Goderich scored in
the last two minutes.
Having only had practice,
the Blaze needed to shake off the
rust and juggle players into new
positions. Rookie Karla Howard
and second -year player Anna
Van Osch had strong matches.
Bridget Jeffrey notched the Blaze
goal.
The GDC! senior girls soc-

ron -Perth season May 21 at St.
