Goderich District Collegiate Institute
has once again shown its athletic talent
at the Western Ontario Secondary School
Athletic Association (WOSSAA) track
meet May 21-22 in London.
After two days of heavy competition
from 50 schools and hundreds of students
in the region, Goderich will be sending a
team of athletes to the Western Regionals
this coming weekend.
Tyler Durst took the gold in junior boys
pole vault, clearing 3.35 metres.
• In senior boys' events, last year's triple -
crown winner, Coy Kulich, again placed
well in discus and javelin, with a fifth
(42.50m) and a second (48.87) place re-
spectively.
Ieshon Morris was first in the 100m Am-
bulatory with a time of 14.77 seconds.
In girls events, Laura and Leslie Walker

third in the 1,500m with a time of 5:00'.87
and a silver in the 3,000m at 1 1:06.34. Sis-
ter Leslie placed fourth in the 3,000m just
over one minute later at 1 1:07.79
