Big names in college coaching host elite hockey camp
in New York.
Wilkinson said the hockey
school will focus on all aspects of
the game, adding he is hoping to get
40 players or two full teams' worth
to fill out the roster.
"We want to try to give quality
instruction to kids who want to go
on to play at a higher level in their
future," said Wilkinson. "We have
a pretty good group of qualified
coaches."
Each of those coaches has a his-
tory with Huron County hockey.
Wilkinson played junior in Goder-
ich, Mason in Seaforth and Garrow
called St. Marys ice home.
Forms for the camp are available
at the Goderich YMCA and the
Clinton arena. To book a spot, call
the Maitland Recreation Centre at
519-524-2125.

Western Michigan university.
He will be joined behind the
bench by the winningest coach in
National Collegiate Atheltic As-
sociation (NCAA) hockey history,
Seaforth's Ron Mason for a five-
day camp running July 26-30.
He said both he and Mason are
looking forward to working back in
the Goderich area this summer.
"What I'm looking to do is give
something back to the community,"
said Wilkinson. "We grew up in the.
area. Between Ron and I, we could
like to do something to keep a camp
going"
After learning the Huron Hockey
School would not be running this
year, Wilkinson said the decision
to create the Lake Huron Hockey
School was an easy one.
The school is for hockey play-
ers aged 11-15, at the 'A' to 'AAA'
level.
Wilkinson said while it was a
little late to start a regular camp,
one for elite travel or rep play-
ers would fit the bill nicely.
Adding further weight to the
coaching lineup is another God-

KNOW WHAT TO
DO TO FIGHT THE
H1N1 FLU VIRUS
The H1N1 flu virus (human swine flu) is a
respiratory illness that causes symptoms
similar to those of the seasonal flu (fever
and cough, runny nose, sore throat, body
aches, fatigue and lack of appetite).
All strains of flu can be dangerous; however,
good infection prevention measures can
help protect you and others if this virus
begins to spread rapidly in Canada.
Wash your hands often and
thoroughly—for at least 20 seconds—
in warm, soapy water or use hand
sanitizer.
0 Cough and sneeze in your sleeve,
not your hand. •
Keep common surfaces and items
clean and disinfected.
0 Stay home if you're sick, and call
your health care provider if your
symptoms get worse.
