April was a pretty good month for
golf and many members got out on
the nice days and got a head start.
On April 29, an opening dinner
was held for the Ladies' League. New
people in the dining room, Wynne and
Doreen cooked up a delicious roast
turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
Thanks guys.
Thursday, April 30, Ladies' Morn-
ing League, Audrey Smith came in
with fewest putts. First flight, low
gross, Wendy Harvey, Second Flight,
Elsie Yates, Third Flight, Martha
Archbold, Fourth Flight Jean Mikit-
ish.
Monday, May 4, Men's League,
saw Bill Vanstone taking first low net
with a score of 33. First low gross, Ian
Harper with 37. Closest to the pin on
No. 1 Stan Paquette, and Nathan Daer
scored a 39 for second low gross.

United they stand
Ricardo Henriques of the Goderich United co-ed soccer team
works his way down the sideline during their May 10 afternoon
match against the Lucknow Stallions FC. Goderich won the
match, 3-1. The Huron Adult Soccer League is comprised of
15 teams, with Goderich United in the Huron South division. -
