Pfaff and other friends, return- ed to their home on Sunday. What might have been a serious fire occurred Monday noon when a small conflagration broke out in Mr. Geo. Koch's house. In some way while Mrs. Cook was outside the coal - oil stove exploded and curtains and clothing caught fire. Tlie entire in- side of the kitchen -was charred and ruined. Only for the prompt help of the neighbors who worked so faith- fully, the entire house may have been burned. Mr. Cook extends his hear- ty thanks to these people.
