50 years and going strong
Community Living of Central Huron had a couple reasons to celebrate last'
week, raising a new flag to commemorate their 50th anniversary year and
planting a tree for Arbour Day. The organization has been ensuring all people
live in a state of dignity, sharing in all elements of living in the community since
1959. Above, Linda Reid, Mary McNeil and Ken Purdan hoist the new flag to a
strong wind April 24. Lower left and right: Reid and Jenny McLaren pack in the
earth around the new tree using the same golden shovel used to commemo-
rate Community Living's 30th anniversary.
