The incumbent 'will assist in the preparation of operating plans, forecasts and management proposals. This involves tracking and completing transactions within the general ledger, purchasing and fixed asset systems pertaining to expenditure requisitions, closures, capitalization, depreciation and retirement of assets. They will be involved with cost and process analysis, financial period dosing and reporting and intemal and external audits. The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting plus 5 years of related experience with standard cost accounting, preferably in a mining or industrial environment. CMA certification is a plus. You must be a highly motivated, energetic team player who enjoys a fast -paced work environment and be proficient in Microsoft applications; software experience with J.D.
