A Travel Counsellor
The Town of Goderich (Tourism Goderich) is currently
seeking applications for a Travel Counsellor for the Spring
and Summer period (May 1 to Labour Day Weekend).
The Travel Counsellor will be responsible for a variety of
tourism and promotional related activities.
Duties will include receiving visitors and answering questions
they have in regard to upcoming events, attractions and
accommodations, highlighting travel routes and providing
pertinent reference materials to each visitor; answering
telephone and email inquiries, preparing visitor information
packages, as well as other duties related to special events
for the Town of Goderich. Daytime, evening and weekend
work is required (Approximately 25-30 hours per week).
We are looking for post secondary students who would enjoy
dealing with the public on a personal basis and who have
excellent communication skills and can work with minimum
supervision.

team for 35 hours per week, for a time period expected to
last approximately 15 weeks, beginning in May.
The Successful candidate will perform administrative

The Service Technician reports to the Assistant Manager
-Telecom .Services and participates in carrying out
corrective and preventative maintenance of all inside
and outside plant and Company provided terminal
equipment so as to ensure that adequate and
satisfactory telecommunications services are provided to
the Company's customers. The incumbent also installs
Company provided terminal equipment including
telephones, network cabling, business systems and
performs plant construction work. All duties are
performed using sound judgement and the exercide of
good workmanship, efficient use of time, and the use
of safe techniques and practices.
A Service Technician, responds to calls, diagnoses the
problem and completes the repair. Service
Technicians may be dealing directly with customers,
so it's important to be courteous and professional.
