"There are often a few items that get last-minute .enhancements like that during the auction;" Good said. "That's -why it's a good idea to follow the broadcast live." • • In the coming weeks, Kinsmen and Kinette members will meet to be- ing the initial stages of planning the 2010 auction installment, and Good said that there are many new ideas that may be worth consideration. . "We're looking into maybe incor- porating more . internet . coverage, branching out into more communi- ties like Exeter, could we pull off an internet auction -- just things like that are worth discussing," Good said. . Last year, the auction raised near- ly $50,000 that was split between the participating clubs to benefit their own and surrounding communities. Every dollar raised above the orga- nizational costs is destined to be put back into the community through. donation and bursaries. .
