United Way All-Star game has best of Huron against Perth
Huron and Perth United Ways are once
again gearing up to present the best and
brightest high school hockey stars from the
two counties at the 4th annual Huron/Perth
All-Star Hockey Game.
"Today's youth are the community volun-
teers and leaders of tomorrow. We are always
inspired by their early involvement into com-
munity support and are once again excited to
host this event. We invite everyone to come
out and cheer on our
high school hockey
players in this fun and
meaningful fundraiser
for the United Way."

The game, which will bring together hock-
ey all-stars from the high schools in the two
counties, will be played at the Exeter arena
this year on March 10th. This event is ex-
pected to bring more than 200 people to the
Exeter area.
Cheer on your favorite players as Huron
County All -Stars square off against their rivals
from Perth County. Fans of all ages will have
two opportunities to enjoy some great hockey
at a great price while "making a difference" in
their community. The evening will start at 7
p.m. with the Huron County all-star girls fac-
ing off against the Perth County all-star girls.
The boys' teams will hit the ice at 9 p.m.
Admission cost will be $2 for students and
$3 for adults with the proceeds going to Unit-
ed Way of Huron and Perth.

Franken and Feagan lead youth bowlers
Goderich Youth Bowlers teamed up across the ages
this Sunday in the Mixed Combo Team Spirit Chal-
lenge. The afternoon was a blast for all who took
part -- awesome games were bowled and prizes
were awarded to all teams!
First place honors goes to the team of Grant McII-
hargey 93, Scott Franken 174 and Daiton Lingard
244. Second place was won by Spencer Barnim
183, Jon Stuparyk 187 and Jacob Smith 96. Third
place was earned by Julien Snowden 109, Shane
Keddy 194 and Cassidy Franken 178. Pinning their
way to fourth place was Elizabeth McDonald 180,
Eric Saunders 140 and Brendan Ritchie 228. Roll-
ing into fifth place was Jordyn Sole 141, Casey
Huff 193 and Ryan Duskocy 158. Sixth place was
picked up by Body Harris 129, Robbie Franken 251
and Samantha Walls 122. Lucky seventh place was
grabbed by Kaidin MacAdam 97, Tegan Stuparyk
221 and Matthew Stuparyk 224. Finishing over
average and in Eighth place was Cody Austin 79,
Andrew Shaw 201 and Trevor Osinga 146. Con-
gratulations to all bowlers for qualifying to take
part and in a great afternoon of team spirit and su-
per bowling.
