celebrate,
remember,
fight in June
Huron County's annual Relay For Life
— a Canadian Cancer Society event - is
gearing up again for this spectacular
event in June. The planning committee
is inviting anyone who would like more
information about Relay, or who would
like to be more involved in the organiza-
tion of this event, to come to their next
meeting on Wednesday, March 11 at 7
p.m. in the library at Goderich District
Collegiate Institute.
Chuck Wickham and Jason Fear, co,
chairs of the event, invite all to come
out and take part. Since 2003, over
$638,000 has been raised during this
all-night fundraiser to help in the fight
against cancer. It's a wonderful feeling
to be a part of this event — either as a
participant, survivor, event -day volun-
teer, or especially as a committee mem-
ber who helps to make it all happen.
There are openings on the committee
and it welcomes anyone who wants to
find out more about how they can help.
The committee also invites those who
want more information about Relay to
come out and find out what else Relay
has to offer.
The Canadian Cancer Society Relay
For Life is more than just a fundraiser.

survivors, remember loved ones lost to
cancer, and fight back in the hope of
finding a cure for this disease.

ticipation gives strength to the Canadian
Cancer Society's mission to eradicate
cancer, It is «an inspirational 12 -hour

of 10 who take turns walking, running or
strolling around a track. Teams consist
of people from communities, organiza-
tions, companies, teams, clubs, families
and friends.
