YOUNG We wish to thank John and Kathy for all the hard work of putting our 60th Anniversary party together. Thanks to Carol Luiting for finding a place, to the Legion, to Dave MacAdam and Alaina for the music, to the Town of Goderich for the flower arrangement, to Sharon and Don for all their flowers, and to the Victoria Street United Church Coffee and Conversation Group for the red Cyclamen. Thank you to all for coming out in the stormy weather and for the cards, gifts and visits. We appreciated it all. Thank you to Kandice Austin for sharing her memorable time as a caregiver to Ruth while a resident at Maitland Manor, also to the staff at Community Living, who were a big part in her life. To Ruth's nephew Larry Hutchins for singing and reading the eulogy of Ruth's short life, and to Cathy Potter for her special music. Also the lovely lunch served by staff at Huronview was very much appreciated by the family. We will always be grateful for your kindness. Amy of MacKenzie & McCreath, you are very compassionate and were a great help to our family. Thank you to yourself and staff for helping us through this sad time. Dr. Shubat, thank you for your care of J.D. the last two years. To all the pallbearers, honorary pallbearers and flower bearers, Julia and Shelby for your words and poem at the service. Reverend C. Harvey for your eulogy, the Legion Ladies for the nice luncheon, thank you. The biggest thank you of all is for the caring staff of Pinecrest Manor for the last two years. We couldn't have asked for any better care than if he was still at home. Thank you girls, you made him feel right at home and put up with his teasing when he was feeling good, and to my family, for always being there, especially Dawn. I would also like to thank J.D. belatedly (but he knew) for 32 years of happiness. I celebrated my birthday with my synchronized swimming friends and family last weekend, and will have my Goderich friend party this weekend. I'm very excited - this is my first birthday in Canada!
