Pirates right-winger Sean Burton was awarded the Western Ontario Athletic Association's Senior 'A' Most Sportsmanlike Player trophy in a spe- cial presentation .Sunday, Feb. 8 at the Maitland Rec- reation Centre. Burton received the award for his contributions to the team, the scoresheet, as well as clean gaimeplay. In presenting the award, Senior 'A' league chair Mike Henry said Burton sets an example for players to take their aggressions out with the puck instead of their fists. In the last five seasons, Burton has had a total of just 12 penalty minutes and 25 points over 19 games this year. This is the second straight year the award was given to a Goderich player. Last year, the award went to Pi- rate Dave Merriam.
