Little Bowl fields big youth finishes The top four Youth Canada Bowl- es from each division took part in the recent Head to Head Challenge. This was a roll -off among each other earning points on the board af- ter each gume. In the Bantam Girls division the first place spot went to Hailey Harris who won five of her rix games. The second place was a tie-up be- tween Payten Lang and LInny Mc- Donald with both finishing evenly matched all the way through their games and the fourth spot went to Alecla Saunders with a nice game of 132.' 'In the Bantam Boys division the first place spot went to Spencer Barnlm who bowled well - only los- ing one of his six games. The sec- ond place went to Curtis Jeffrey who bowled above his average followed in third place by Robert Shelhamer by adding up the points on the board. The fourth place finish went to Na- than Jeffrey with a nice game of 153. In the Junior Girls division the top spot went to Tiffany Foster who took five of her six games bowled followed by Cassidy Vranken who bowled well over her average earn- ing her extra points, In third place came `lagan Stuparyk with a trice ,2Q1 game followed by fourth place finish Theresa Rootsemalen bowling over her average with a 144, In the Junior Boys division Shane Kcddy bowled some of his best games ever to :help take the fiat place finish, Robbie Vranken also bowled some high games giving him a very close second place. The third, place went to Jonathan Stuparyk who was coming on strong near the " end earning him some points on the board. The fourth place finish went to Andrew Shaw with a nice game of 175. The Senior Boys division seen Matthew Stuparyk take first place with a day of consistently high scor- Ing games. In second place came Dalton Lingard who was picking up his games as the day went on for a close finish. The third place went to Derek Saundercock bowling his high average to earn points on the board followed by Thomas Hamilton who bowled a nice game of 228. Everyone enjoyed the day with each participant going home with a trophy to remember this event. Sailorettes tie first-round playoff opener The Bantam . Sailorettes fought South Huron to a 1-1 tie Sunday, Feb. 1, in the first game of the play-off sea- son, Although nogoals ware scored in the firs two peri, excellent of- fensive work by Ali Rayne and Em- ily Gordon kept the pressure on the South Huron defense.
