et Reps headed to western finals against Listowel
Goderich'sT1idget Reps advance to
the Western Ontario Athletic Associa-
tion finals after knocking off Waiker-
ton in three straight games to- sweep
their second round playoff series,
Coach Gary Lynch said the Midgets'
playoff performance has been great,
adding they are coming together- well
as a.ttam when they can stay out of the
penalty box.
This proved to be the case against
Walkerton.
"Solid goaltending, superb defensive
play and ail three lines scoring makes
for a nice team to coach," he wrote,
"Walkerton was a good test - a tight
playing team with excellent gbaltend-
ing."

The series was never completely one-
sided. With a 4-3 overtime win in game
two, and a 4-3 finish to game three, it
was close,
Next up for Goderich is the consis-
tently tough Listowel team - the first
place finishers overall in league play.
Lynch said the Sailors are up to the
challenge if they can keep their heads
in the game.
"If we are to advance to the OMHA
semi-finals we will have to be firing on
all cylinders," he said. "And stay out of
penalty trouble."
The date is yet to be determined for
the opening game of round three. Good
luck to the Midget Rep Sailors.
