Goderich Peewee AE
knocked out of playoffs
The Goderich Peewee AE team
began their playoffs with a three -
but -of --five series against Mithcell.
Game one was out of reach for
the Sailors, with the peewees tak-
ing
aking an 8-1 loss. However, Goder-
ich returned ready to play in game
two, win ting 3-2.
Game three was hard-fought and
ended in a 3-3 tie after overtime.
Goderich scorers were Mitchell
Clarke, Alex Conlon and Hailey
Bakker.
With the series tied at one game
each and one tie, a fourth and de-
ciding game was played Jan. 15.
Again, both teams showed their
desire to win, taking the game into
overtime.
However, Mitchell rallied first
in OT, breaking the tie and cinch-
ing the game, 4-3. .
Scoters were Conlon, Tyler
Moss and Samantha Hodges.
