Menesetung Bridge Association. Previous donations were used to further drainage
and make improvements on the Tiger Dunlop Heritage Trail. It also made .a yearly
development program possible. Shown is Matt Hoy of TD Canada Trust presenting

ordained Deacon in May of 1974 follow-
ing his graduation from Huron College.
Ordained priest in 1975, Bennett served
congregations in Simcoe, Bruce County,
Kitchener, Brantford and -Windsor, be-
fore his election as Suffragan, or Assistant
Bishop of Huron (titled Bishop of Norfolk)
in 2002. He was consecrated as a Bishop
September 14th of 2002.
Among those who will attend Saturday's
service are the Primate of the Anglican
Church of Canada, the Most Rev. Fred
Hiltz; the Right Rev. John Chapman, Bish-
op of Ottawa (a former Dean of Theology
at Huron University College) who is the
preacher and Archbishop Caleb Lawrence
of Moosonee who will officiate.
The 'enthronement of a Bishop contains
many symbolic elements representing the
more than 500 year history of the Anglican
Church. Media are welcome to cover this
service. Perhaps the best video/photo Op-
portunity comes at the start of the service,
when Bishop Bennett will stand outside
the Cathedral door and knock, asking to
be let in.
Bishop Bennett will be available to the
media following the service, with a best
guess that would be around 12:30 pm.
While it may not be logistically possible
on Saturday, we would try to' honour re-
quests for phone interviews on Saturday,
and certainly such requests could be fol-
lowed up early next week
