here for time at least.

'Tlze annual spring show which was
held on Tuesday was`a splendid suc-
cess. The,weather was all that could
be desired and our Main street was
in -fair, condition. --There were more
horses sliown,>this year in the differ-
ent • classes than previous years. The
showing: of cattle was not as large as.
usual. One event which was of un-`
usual interest was the boy's judging
coinpetition, - which was held., this
year for the first tizne..-The •fair, this
year is considered to -be the ` best in

The Municipal Council of the
Township of Usborne, met at the
Township Hall, on Saturday April 1st
1922 pursuant to adjournment. All
the members were present. Minutes
-of- meeting of Mar. 4th; were read
and approved, Communications read
with' following resolutions:—

complaint and demand'' for refund on
Anderson drain, No, 2 Assessment.
No action. Communication of In-

gravel ,pits. -That' Regulation -121-
the Mines Amendment Act, 1919, be
on each' Patti raster's List and that
a poster' with sante Regulation be
placed in each gravel pit. That the
Clerk order from the Corrugated
Pipe Co. of Stratford, one 36 'inch
pipe, 21 feet long and one 15 inch
pipe 20 feet long for. immediate de-
livery. Wm. Moodie, Road Super -
intendant, being present, the Council
held a conference with him as to the
necessary grading to be done etc. A
bill for Municipal Supplies and sun-
dries, to the amount of $19:52 was
paid. Council adjourned to meet on
May -6th, 1922, at the TownSllip Stall
at 1 o'clock p.m,

There passed away at her home,
west of : Dashwood on the South:
Boundary of Hay, on March 21st,
Catherine Bowman, aged 72 years, 1
month and 14 days: Deceased had
